"Serenity is one of the best programs in Ocean County; the staff is attentive and caring, and they listen to concerns from families and caregivers. They genuinely care about the individuals they serve and go out of their way to assist above and beyond expectations. As a Support Coordinator, I've had the opportunity to visit and meet with staff from many different programs in the state, and I've found Serenity to be among my favorites in Ocean County. I was so excited to hear they will be opening another location in Monmouth County. The program serves individuals of varying levels of need, and their staff is well-versed in managing and redirecting behaviors to minimize disruptions. They offer so many different daily activities for their participants to choose from, such as community outings, arts and crafts, games, life skills like cooking and math skill-building, technology development, as well as quiet rooms for reading or just a quiet space to decompress when overstimulated. I've referred several of my clients to Serenity and will continue to refer them. I have parents telling me their adult children have made significant social progress since attending Serenity. They are more expressive verbally, calmer, and overall happier. Keep up the good work Serenity, you are an awesome team!"

"I can only say positive things about Serenity. The director April is really great with the parents, staff and clients. She makes leaving your adult child/family member effortless. My son is severely autistic (non verbal) and there are so many activities, celebrations, and outings that are offered daily. Ryan loves coming. The wonderful staff treats him and all participants with such patience and kindness. Serenity exposes him to opportunities and places I would never think he could do or like. "Serenity Day Hab is AMAZING! The care, kindness and attention that they have provided my son has been immeasurable. Not only does he love going there and love the staffers (regularly speaking of them fondly), but his daily behavior since beginning in the program has been night-and-day better. His aggressive tendencies have completely stopped. That is entirely a function of the fact that they understand him and meet him where he's at whilst gently encouraging him to grow and prosper. "Serenity Day Habilitation is the best thing to happen for my son. After moving from FL two years ago, we found Serenity 10 months ago. He is happier than he has been for the past 2 years. My son especially likes the opportunity to go out into the community everyday. When he is not out and about, my son is busy with the many activities available. He enjoys being with his new friends. The staff is friendly and patient. April, the director, is very attentive. She genuinely cares about her clients. Because we are new to the program I have had questions. "I have seen firsthand the level of care and dedication that goes into Serenity Day Hab in Brick. The clients here are never treated like numbers on a list. Every single person is recognized as someone's child, someone's sibling, someone deeply loved — and they are treated that way every single day. The staff truly works to meet each individual at their own level. It's not one-size-fits-all. Time is taken to understand personalities, communication styles, behaviors, strengths, and needs. She handles crises professionally and calmly, supports her staff, and communicates with families. She does not ignore concerns — she addresses them."

"My son is very picky and he loves this program. He looks forward to go there. He comes home with smile on his face. They do arts, crafts, life skills and adventure out in community. Program director and staff has been amazing. They go above and beyond. When it was cold and icy outside during winter the driver and aide made sure my son got on and off the van safely. Made sure he got in the home and then they left. I would recommend this program to everyone that would ask me."
